I'll skip the kudos to all who post and answer questions. I'd like to return the favor; answering posts and including posts or "sections" in this forum where newbies can find the info they need. Not sure how to include "links", pictures etc.

If someone can get me started, I'll do my best to point newbies in the right direction.

Again, thanks to all the folks who post the great info.

Welcome to the forum. The very best thing you can do to help the forum is to provide good solid information. Don't pass off as fact anything that you don't 100% know to be true, and that includes not using opinions as facts. Avoid logical fallacies. Don't be afraid to tell newbies to use the Search function when a question has been asked (and answered) many times before, and explain how to use the Search function if they're lost.

Second best thing is to become a supporting member ("Elite Explorer"). For the money you can save utilizing the forum, it is a bargain. Comes with some nice perks like your own avatar and title, authorization to post in Elite Explorer 911 and Classifieds sections, and image hosting.

For links, use the link button in the post editor. It looks like a globe with two links of chain below it.

For pictures, either host them on another site like Photobucket and link them using IMG code, or get an Elite account which allows you to upload pics directly to the Explorer Forum server for immediate display.

New to the forum and appreciate the wealth of knowledge. Not new to wrenching basic stuff. Belonged to an f150 forum for my recently deceased love and now own a 91 ranger in pretty good shape.

I always want to return the favor because I know that what goes around comes around.
