Will tailight covers from a '96 fit a '98?

How do you know when they're braking?

I was right behind a guy with some today actually and you can see see lights through them fine. I wasn't going to get them because I thought the same thing until I saw this guys, and you can see though them perfectly.

Taillights are the same from '95 to '97 and from '98-01.
