The width might be a bit much. I know that even with 33x12.50s, trimming is often needed with the 5.5. It's definately doable, but you'll probably need to get out the sawzall or grinder, and pay great attention to wheel backspacing.
Not recommended. You would need to go with a 10" wide rim and it would rub a lot. I would stick with a 33x12.5 (you can put those on 8" rims) and would prolly fit fine under your truck, maybe just a little trimming.
