will this tire wheel combo work?

Can i put 30x9.5x15 tires on 15x8 wheels? or is this too close for proper seating? thanks

I think it would work, but 15x7 would be better.

It will work I have 31x10's on 15x7 rims the only thing that really matters the most is the diameter not width and for some strange reason it dosent work it never hurts to try

So you're saying that an 8.5" rim is too wide for a 30X9.50 tire?

Just looked at BFG's specs pdf. They recommend 8.5" the max width for that tire size, and usually their recommendations are a bit wide IMO. So the widest I'd go with a 30x9.5 would be 15x8, and IMO 15x7 is better for that size tire.

But yes, it will work.
