getting ready to lift this explorer now. got those 32 x 11.50's in the garage just wasting space haha. i had them on my 96, as well the same trailer hitch. but i put the trailer hitch on after i put the warrior shackles on. this explorer looks like the longer shakles will hit the hitch. maybe its just me but i want to make sure before i buy everything and start lifting it. heres a pic. thanks guys! :exp:

Mine didn't hit. Is yours a hidden hitch?

yes they will fit, it doesn't look like it will clear while flexing, but it will. here is a pic of my homemade shackles

not a hidden hitch, dont know the brand, it was all rusty with no stickers when i got it from the junk yard a couple years ago. ok thanks for the help. i thought it would but it sure dont look like it when the stock ones are that close to begin with. let the lifting begin.....

hey how long are the warrior shackles? autozone has some cheapos that are 10 inches. pretty close in length?

i got the 2" lift shackels and a hidden class 3 hitch. i had to trimm about 1/4" - 1/2" off of the hitch to compunsate for travel. now it clears good

when i lifted my st i have a drawtite hitch on mine, all i did was take it off and put the shackles on and then put it back on. i had the same exact question. hope that helped!

i meant to say that mine was bolted on with 4 bolts. 2 on each side. if its welded or something like that, you may need to rethink the shackles or sacrifice the tow package.
