Winch advice needed for a 1998 Ford Ranger.

Hello my name is Zane I'm from Oklahoma i bought a 1998 Ford Ranger 4x4 bout a yr and a half ago. and i gotta say with the recent accumulation in snow storms we seem to be having, that it has been well worth purchase... my question is?

does anyone know anything about mounting a winch on the front of these trucks? I'm kinda new to that . I've been told to mount a hidden winch but i am unsure as to how or where precisely? if anyone has any suggestions or could direct me to a link or so let me know. just need something simple to pull myself out with nothing fancy....

oh and info onmounting hardware is needed let me know. I have owned several projects "mostly fords" and have always found these forum's to be a big help.
