Ok, few things I have noticed since if finally got cold here in Northern IL.

1. My window does not roll down easily

2. my lock is sticking.

The window will roll down very slow, like it is binding up, but when I roll it up is is smooth, and fast. I am assuming I should grease the guides, but with what, I know my dad used White lithium grease.

The key lock on my drivers door sort of sticks, it does nto turn very easily, I also assume that it is due to lack of lubrication aswell. So what is the best thing to lubricate it with?

Thanks for the help.

White lithium grease fine for window guides.

Get a small can of spray silicone lubricant, use one of those little red straws to spray into key opening, then put in key and turn several times. If that doesn't do it, the latch mechanism itself needs lubricating. I spray the same stuff liberally in where the latch post goes. If you need still more, you have to remove the inside door panel and try to get spray lubricant up in the latch mechanism from inside the door. Doable, but a PITA if you have big hands.

Good luck.
