Hello, first time posting to this forum. I purchased a 2002 XLT from my father in law about 8 months ago and have had no problems until now. First my 16 year old son advised me that the drivers window is down and will not go back up. After so web searches and a little trouble I replaced the switch and everything was fine. Just a few weeks later my son informed me that the window now goes down automatically when you start the engine( not just turning the key it has to start). Also when we bought the car the rear passenger window was inop but did not care at the time. Looked at the wire harness in the door jamb and found a broken wire thought by fixing it would solve drivers door problem but instead it fixed rear pass window. Drivers window will go back up with engine off though and my son has foud that if you turn the engine on and off several times the window will go up and stay up. Help!!!!!!!!! Just joined and will add more personal details later.
