on my 1993 limited every thing is perfect i couldnt find anything wrong with it, except my window. not the driver but the driverside rear window. from the back it will roll down but will not roll up. i can roll it up from the drivers seat window button cluster. can anyone help me on how to fix this?? could it be the switch?? or a bad wire?? help i beg you. I REALLY HATE IT WHEN LITTLE THINGS DONT WORK( im a bit of a perfectionest)

sounds like the switch or a wire problem... it rolls up and down correct? up/down from drivers override but only down from the rear seat? sounds like a shorted/cut/disconnected wire or a bad switch

yea, thats the problem exactly, do you or any one happen to know how much a new switch would be and if its a wire, how do i fix that>?thanks for the help

If you have a 12V tester, see if there is power on either sides of the switch when the button is pressed...

give me $5 and pay for shipping and you can have the one from my 94... its not like i have a window to use it on.... make sure yours is bad first though

i will let you know on that. thanks a lot

Pop the switch out and clean the contacts if you can with some alcohol and a q-tip. Or just blow some dry air through there and clean it up as best as you can. This happened to me when I was off roading and it was very dusty. After pulling the switch out and blowing on it and knocking it around some, it started to work again.

Hope this may help.

Andy
