Windsheild Wiper won't Work

My windshield wipers stopped working one morning. Check all the fuses everything looks good there. When I turn the wiper control I hear a click. The got to the wiper motor, when you attempt to turn the blades on you can feel the motor kind of click. But there's no sign that the arms want to move. Is it just a bad motor?

Have you checked for power at the motor? If you have power there, then it's probably the motor.

Bought new motor, plugged it in and still nothing.. How would I go about checking for power to the motor. It clicks when I turn it on but no movement

Also, it doesn't spray wiper fluid when I press that button

Use a multimeter to verify the power at the plug that connects to the motor.
It sounds like you have power, though it may be limited.

Put the pos. probe on a terminal in the connector and put the neg. probe on a ground or metal surface of the car.

Check for to see if you have 12 volts. Not sure how many pins in the connector there are, check each of them with the wipers turned on.

Issue may be in the multi switch (turn signal, wiper switch.)

Would it make most sence if it was the multi function swirch? I never had problems with it before it just stopped working. And the spray doesn't work so it wouldnt be the wiper motor that's bad. But it's getting some sort of signal ebecause the motor clicks when I attempt to use it.

I would look to see if there is a circuit board in the wiper motor. GM did and the solder joints failed and the easy fix was to warm up the solder to reconnect the circuit board.

If both the wipers and the spray aren't working I would bet on the MFS (Multi-Function Switch). It isn't too difficult to replace and you could find a match at a junkyard cheap, or buy it new. Your choice. I've seen many of these go on Explorers lately, maybe it's a coincidence.

Alright guys I've replaced the multi function switch and the motor and still nothing. Like I said you can slightly feel and hear the motor click when I attempt to turn the wiper on but they still don't work? No spray either?
