Daughter brought her 2001 Explorer Sport (new body style) home from college for the summer, time for repairs. Windshield wipers only work on fast, and they won't park themselves at the bottom. I have swapped the motor and turn signal arm, still the same. When I turn the knob on low I hear a click in the fuse box under the hood. Is there a relay in there that might be the issue? All the wiring looked good, no bad plugs. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ya'll

Well figured I would answer my own question, maybe it will help someone. After swapping the turn signal control and the motor with no luck, I turned to the relays, they are under the hood in the fuse box, 1st 2 in the lower left corner if your standing on the side of the truck. They were the same as the ones right next to it, so I marked the suspected bad ones, and swapped the ones from next to them in there, The wipers worked fine. Then I just needed to swap the old ones in there one at a time till I figured out which one was bad. A lot less sweaty then swapping motors and switches, I should have started there. So if your ever at the junkyard yankin parts might be a good idea to grab a bunch of those relays, most of them in the explorer are the same type anyway, unless you enjoy paying $12.99 each.

Glad you got it fixed,I assume lesson learned on replacing parts before finding the problem? That can get expensive and as you said it's hard work for no gain.:D
