Hi guys. First post hurr.

I just pulled in home from school, and my stepdad's 2002 Limited's wipers won't work. I got the blades and cowl off, and can see that the link to the motor is disconnected, but it's not obvious as to how it's actually supposed to /connect/ to it. Itdoesn't look like it has a bolt, or a clip, or nothin.

OK, nevahmind.

If your wipers don't work, the fuses are good, and you can move the wipers by themselves:

1. Remove cowl. It just pops off, but be careful not to break the clips - it's fragile.

2. Disconnect wiper motor electric supply.

3. Remove the 3 retaining bolts, one on each side, and one on the motor. Remove the entire assembly as a unit.

4. Use a hammer to tap the wiper linkage arm back onto the motor (it's just two pieces of rubber).

5. Reassemble in the rain.

...welcome here and sorry...this is the first time i seen your post...most everyone is on holiday or shopping...i'm glad you got it fixed...:D

No problem, man. I was just in a hurry and ended up just tearing the sucker out of there to figure it out.

I wanted to put in the how-to because when I searched, it only shows the procedure for '01 and prior Exploders (sorry, I drive a Thunderchicken, it's hard not to say Exploder! ), and figured I might help someone else later.

Merry Muddin'!
