.
Apparently there are 2 different wiper motors. One has a wiring plug that is larger than the other. This truck has the wider (or longer) plug.
.
I got a replacement, and if I apply 12v to the black wire and red wire terminals (there are many other wires) . . . the replacement works.
.
When I test for power on the truck for the red wire (and the wiper switch is on high) it is HOT. But, when I plug in the replacement, it does not work. I tested the black to ground and it is good.
.
SO . . .it appears that some of the wires on the wiper motor plug are not working correctly, but this is only a guess.
.
Anyone got any advice on where to go next ??
