Wire problem.......

Alright here's the deal. Last time I posted it was a crazy gas tank situation that no one including myself had seen before. Turns out it was some kind of sponge in the tank that had become dislodged. Don't ask. They had to replace the entire gas tank to fix the problem.
Now out of nowhere, hopefully unrelated, my 2002 Eddie Bauer Explorer has been acting very weird. When i turn the key off in the truck rather than the radio staying on until i open a door it turns off immediately as if a door is already open. The auto locks aren't kicking on until a good ten minutes of driving. When i lock the truck the alarm only dings beeps once rather than twice. The second beep comes about 15 mins later as if a door has just been shut. When I hit the rear defrost button the interior light comes on and the door ajar message appears in the info box. The light goes off in a few seconds but the door ajar message stays on until the rear defrost is turned off. Any ideas???? Before I go get raped at the mechanic..............oh yea and my side mirror control isn't working either......i think that's it for now.......
