Yes I have read the sticky. And yes I am an idiot and can't wire it. I have an 01 explorer sport with the 6disk changer and sub. I want a better head unit in. I have it in and all wired but I can't get the sub wired right. There are 4 wires. One red with a strip, one brownish with a strip, one greenish with a strip, and a plan black. The red with a strip is the only one with a voltage. Now my question is where do they go. I assume the black goes to ground. I had been putting the red with the strip with the remote turn on wire. But I am completely unaware of how to wire the other two. How many RCA cables do I need and how do I wire them. Is one RCA cable negative and one positive, or does the wire have both positive and negative? If so what is what? I have no idea how to wire it and have just been trying random combinations.
I am normally good with these kinds of things but I normally know what wires are going where and I have never had to cut open an RCA cable before.
