Wiring issue

Hi my name is Jacob, I own a 2002 ford explorer sport trac. I recently drove my truck and my driver side window wouldn't work. I tested the driver window switch. I did receive power from it when i clicked the button. next I put 12volts into the motor wire harness. It was moving up and down so it does work. I then pulled off the boot in between the door and no wires were slit? anybody have any ideas on whats going on? thank you for your

Sounds like you need to continue tracing the power lead to find where it's losing it's connection.
