i am planning on running fog lights, front strobes, rear strobes, ground effects kit, inside lights, and overhead monitor. (possibly more) I am wanting to run each one of the off seperate switches so i can turn each one on seperatly. Does anyone know how i would go about wiring this up (i have an idea but i'm sure it won't work) i would like to have it where i would have to flip a switch to supply power to the other switches that have the lights on them. But again i have no idea how to wire this up.

Also i am pretty sure i would have to upgrade my battery and/or alternator to supply enough power to all this. Could anyone recommend and good battery and/or alternator upgrade.

Well for the battery I would go with an exide orbital, maybe the Xtreme in your case (it's a hybrid exide orbital between a deep cycle and a starting battery, very good from what I hear.) I am unsure on what size of alternator you have currently in your explorer, find out the amp rating, I would think that anything over ~130 amps should be just fine. Your overhead monitor can be ran off of a switch, and more than likely your ground effect can be as well, depends on the amp load though. Your other stuff will need to have switches and a relay bank (group of relays) to run them. If you need to know more about wiring relays let me know, but for now I will just assume you know how to wire a relay. Let us know if you have any other questions.

when it comes to wiring i am a beginner (spelling). so any help you can offer (verbal or diagrams) will be greatly appreciated.
