A friend of mine just had one installed, he put his in the dash. Literally inside the dash. However, he does not pick up every stationg all the time. Just an idea. Are'nt they able to mount like on the roof or something? I was thinking right behind my sunroof opening were it's out of the way....

It's like 3 inches high and almost 2 inches around. here's the link to look at it...

There is a monthly fee $9. you have to have a special reciever for XM. But you can get a satelite receiver and run it into the aux inputs on your deck since MOST of the satelite receivers are only that, a sattelite receiver.

You can get an FM Modulated satellite reciever for any car. It works just like the FM Modulated cd-changers.

what is the approx. cost of one of those?

The XM system is running around $300, depending on rebates and which setup you get.

There was someone selling one on ebay for $220 if you have a pioneer xm ready head unit

That is expensive for just the receiver. If it includes an antenna then it's not bad. The unit for an XM ready Pioneer is only around 169-199. The antenna will run an additional 50-100.

yeah it's with the antenna

I mount them in the area were the jack is. You should be abe to velcro it to the wheel well. I reccommend the glass mount ant. to my customers and put them on the sid window
