Wondering if anyone can diagnosis my tranny problem!!!!!

i know alsorts of tranny problems have been diagnosed on this message board but im wanting to see if you can help me out!!!

First of all I sunk my truck under 6 feet of water..once I got it out and started it up it wouldnt shift into D or R just 1 and 2 after I let it warm up it shifted into D and then finnally R when I was traveling down the road from first gear to second it would shift until i let of the gas and lowerd my rpms---after 2nd all seems fine

note when I droped my tranny pan the atf looked like strawberry shake I could tell there was water in it---I replaced the tranny filter

also note my OD idoit light keeps blinking

what seems to be the prob is it just the water in my tranny?

Hmm.. This doesn't really answer any of your questions, but I'd say you're damn lucky that your truck even started.

If you just did a pan drop and changed the fluid without a flush than your fluid is still highly contaminated. Get a full flush first, then see where you're at.
