won't move when but in gear

I have a 98 xlt explorer the trans was rebuilt about 6 or 8 k miles ago and the lady said she drove it home and when she went out to take it to the store the next day it started to move then stopped. Now it will creep forward or backward depending on the gear but only a little bit anyone have a idea what it could be...So far i was told maybe a torque converter or pump maybe...


Any help would be great

Did ya get a warranty on the trans?
Call them up to get it towed to their place.

Wow.

Well uhmm... I would go over the paper work of what the trans shop did and compare them to common problems with the trans. If they didn't do one thing in the trans but did everything around it, that would make a weak link, that's how I would diagnose the situation.
