So I replaced the starter and battery on my 2004 Explorer almost a week ago, and had been driving it regularly again. This morning however, it would not start, I have power, so lights, gauges, radio, everything electrical works. But the engine won't turn over, nor is there any clicking sound from the starter, which I had before I had to replace things. With that, there is also the check engine light that came on as well as the check fuel cap light. Does anyone have any suggestions as to fixing my problems? Or even a good place to start troubleshooting to figure out what's causing it not to start. Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

First thing would be check to make sure all your connections are tight. Did you get a new or rebuilt starter?.

It's an Ultima remanufactured starter. I bought it at O'Rileys, it says it has a lifetime warranty. Which is nice, if that's the problem and it needs to be replaced, again.
