Has anyone heard of, seen or know where to get a wood panelling kit for a Gen. 2 explorer? I mean the outside wood panelling...like a old woody. I think that my '97 metallic green X with wood panelling, lowered 2 inches with 18 inch Amer. Racing rims would look nice.
Anyone know?

Thanks

WOW! That is a nice ride!

You see!! I like that. But with wood covering the doors and the rear panel...not onto the front fenders. All the way up over the door frames. But man that is great. Where is that picture from and how old is it?

Man, BM, I am trying sooo hard to like that truck... not working here for me... :( IMHO wood does not belong on a vehicle, inside or out. But, hey, that's just me.

i think it looks sharp, but they could have done the wood look a little better. and those wheels that are painted the same color as the truck is going to far i think.

X~FACTOR I understand and kinda agree. It can be done tastefully but it is hard to keep under control and not look bad. I think that one is within reason.

Yeah...painted isn't very good. It's gotta be real. But you know X Factor, I think the real wood trim on the inside is so tasteful...specially on the 2nd gen X. I love mine. But turning it into a woody with real wood on the outside could be *****in. But it would have to be done like a roadster...dropped...throaty...nice chrome rims and the wood's gotta be polished.
