Worried about my Sport Order.

2013 Explorer Sport
I ordered a 2013 Explorer Base model as well as a F350 pickup for my business back in early October. Both of which show up as having arrived at my local ford dealer (Valley Ford Trucks, Valley View Ohio) according to fleet.ford.com. Late last week I swung by Valley Ford and the Explorer was in fact there, but its been ordered wrong....missing the Sync System and its FWD when I ordered AWD.

Today I looked online at the Window Sticker for the F350 and shows the color as Black when in fact it should be Oxford White. I will need to swing by Valley tomorrow to see if in fact they have a Black F350 on the ground.

I havent heard anything from Valley yet on either of the Vehicles...but if they were both ordered wrong, I can see why the might not have contacted me yet to pick them up.

Now a few weeks ago I placed an order for an Explorer Sport with Valley for me. I now anxiously await a VIN to see if its been ordered correctly.

For the Ford Customer Service people, my fleet code if AB268 which should be enough to look up the Vehicles.

Also have a new 2013 MKZ ordered back in August...was originally given a build date of K5 but still don't have a VIN, any idea when they may start with the 2013 MKZs?

We have ordered 5-6 Fords through them without incident. They specialize in trucks and vans and that is what I get mostly for my business.

For the Sport I ordered, I actually tried getting a quote from another dealer who I test drove one through....but they were more expensive....which is odd considering I use a Ford Fleet code which means the we aren't haggling over the price. I even asked and they said that was the price....as best I could tell they tried to keep the rebate.

Their loss, we have a fleet of 30 vehicles I am in the process of late of replacing everything with Fords...I have been happy with Valley up until now.... Guess we will see how things get handled. The Base Explorer and the F350 we need, but its not like it would kill us if we had to wait a couple more months. But if they screw up mine, I would be really angry :D
 






it would affect special depreciation as I don't know if it is carried over for next year
