Worst stuck pic thread

no lift and stock tires are not good in snow that deep,
gotta have some clearance when doing that stuff,

Tires aren't stock but their highway tires. I had it 5 days when I did that. Mods to come

Stuck after 5 days of owning it?

I'm going to pay attention to your threads to see what other mayhem ensues. :p:

Dre,
That is stuck, you ever coming back to Illinois?

And is it me or does your first pic look like a scene from Lord of the Rings, Fellowship of the Ring when Frodo meets Gandalf? You look like you are about 3 feet tall the way the pic was taken. I think the term they used was forced perspective....

soon, very soon.... by the end of January - we might be able to hit some trails as soon as the snow melts... ;)

and "that stuck" was trully a nightmare - whole day of wheeling - all kinds of terrain and at the end we ended-up "plowing through the unknown". Terrain that has never seen off road trucks and has been overgrown with shrubs, weeds and grass as tall as 4 feet in some places. You can imagine the outcome - you don't even know what you're riding through. History...

hit this rut hard thinking id have the momentum to make it through. was deeper than i thought and all that momentum was transfered to the bottom rung of my tube bumper bending it to breaking point. luckily the upper part of the bumper was fine and i winched right out no problem. new bumper in the design phase tho...

yea. you go down 74 towards senoia and once you pass panasonic the next left is a little industrial park. you just drive about a hundred yards down a cartpath and the access road is on you left. its not too intense of a trail but its pretty fun. (plus its the only access road in PTC not locked and it has no notresspassing signs.) another local spot is down on Rockaway road theres a new subdivision being built and behind it are tons of dirt trails and powerline roads to explorer.

heres a map to where i went yesterday off 74. you can follow one trail all the way back to 74 or the other all the way to crosstown road

i guess if you have enough clearance around your wheel well it might work. i would like to see it done with a truck, tho

Don't ask how I got in this situation... hah. But, one of my buddies with a Cherokee tried to pull me out, wasn't happening. He called a friend who has a Suzuki jeep type thing (not sold in the states) and the two of them together couldn't pull me out. Eventually we got a tractor out there and it got the job done... It was a hell of a mess.

Look's like a fun day!!!

All rite, I'm in for some humble pie. I was out checking out the new neighborhood about a week after moving in. The road turned to a twin track... then to a cattle path. I came upon what looked like a little mud puddle and figured no biggie, I can do it. Well, three hours later and after a tractor literally picked me up, I was back on terra firma replacing a flat tire to get on my way.

ok i know comments are made in good fun sometimes but my best friend was killed when the chain broke and the hook from the winch cable hit him in the head . he was a trained professional tow truck driver and was where he should be next to the truck but you cant be too careful cause cables do what they want always practice safe winching put a jacket tow strap something to interupt the recoil if the chain/cable/rope breaks be safe not sorry

either this one
