Would this lift kit fit my X?

I have a 1992 Sport, and i have just found an INCREDIBLE deal on a Ranchero 4" lift. Shocks, Coils, leafs and brackets all for $350. My homework says that this is about a $1000 kit. It came off an '81 F150, and the guy claims that it should fit a first gen X too, can anybody help me?

this kit will not fit your x first thing the springs in the front have a much higher spring rate and second that 4 in lift is 4 in with a full size truck gvw where as the x is midsize

Not to mention the brackets are probably a bit different as to where they bolt up.
