This site says these shock absorbers alone will lift the entire truck. The way I see it, thats way too much pressure for just shock absorbers and the way they work. It also says it results in a 4 inch lift. I figure if the explorer already needs struts or coilovers to support the whole car that shock absorbers obviously wouldn't be enough. I've heard mixed things from friends but I'm looking for someone with some knowledge on superlift shocks.
In addition to that, I thought if you were to exceed about 3 inches of lift you should replace the control arms and possibly the CV shafts. This site just makes it seem too easy.
