write up on how to use fiberglass?

anybody know a write up on how to use fiberglass? It looks way easy. I'm thinking about making a fiberglass custom dash for my broncoII. any info would be great.

Great find james t.

The only difference between this writeup and what I did, is instead of using the fleece to make the exoskeleton, I just bought a bunch of Play-Doh, and sculpted what shape I wanted. For small, very specifc shapes, the Play-Doh works better. You can simply dig it out once thefiberglass dries.
Oh yeah, sand, and sand, and sand between layers. The top layer I saned with five varieties of grit, each one a higher # grit (more fine).

why sand between layers of fiberglasss?

So it will come out smooth. If you dont, the end result will be so rough it will be almost unsandable.

2nd reason

If the fiberglass ever has to support weight, the air bublles will compromise the structural integrity.
