wth is an airbag sliding contact

I'm trying to diagnose my cruise control using the dvd from fordcds.com and i've gotten to the part where i need to check the resistance on the airbag sliding contact. What is it, a pic would be really helpful because I pulled the airbag off and I have no idea what i'm looking at lol. BTW, has anyone used this dvd? I'm having some issues with getting the circuit diagrams to display.

I would assume that it's reffering to the clock spring, I would assume that it would look similat to this:

You'll need to check the wiring diagram to verify which contacts you need to check the resistance on, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Do you have problems with the horn or the SRS light flashing a code? This would be the first place to start. The cruise control could have other issues.
