X sounds like it's choking

i'll try to describe this the best i can. i turn the X on, and it sounds like it's choking. like, not getting fuel or air or something. and when i accelerate, it seems to choke it even worse. i had it dyno tested and they said the TPS was bad. it said it wasn't working at all. and it was looseing power insted of adding, like working backwards or something. i replaced the TPS and still not working. like i said... it's hard to explain.

Try a scan of the EEC system.

Try the egr valve leaking.

what engine do you have. if you have the sohc your lower intake manifold o rings are leaking.

there is a recall out for this not sure what milage though

You need to check the voltages on the TPS. The three wires are common, the wiper which will vary between the two, and 5V power. If one of these wires has a broken connection, replacing the TPS will do nothing. The actual code number would give insight to the problem.
