XCal 3

I third that.I've whooped so many cars since the Tuner is un-real. In fact I honestly haven't lost a real race yet with it. With that said , I'm going back to KCIR next month and if You really gained 6 tenths just from the tune I should expect to do VERY well over last visit!

When are you going? I assumed they were closed for the season

I might have to try and come out

Really?? That would be tight to have another Co- Explorer Mountaineer come out there with me. I can't whoop everyone's butt's by myself lol:D

With the disorganized cluster flock it was in Sep I don't know if it's worth it.

I never had a problem out there except for all the GM's throwing rods all over the place the last time I was ther.

The night Jon, Eric & I were there they didn't tell you what lanes were for what. Jon ended up in the Pro lanes on one of his TWO passes because of it. People were parking where we were pitted. They wouldn't let Jon & Eric race each other.

They left a bad taste in my mouth in how they ran things.

Wow honestly thats a shame. Hopefully it was just a bad night. It sure sucks they made a bad impression though!

so if i were to get my xcal 3 unlocked, $100 later, it would be open to any car and id have to pay for new tunes right?

and if i tuned the explorer can i leave the tune on it and then sell the tuner?

Yes if it's unlocked you can put tunes on it for another car. In order to sell it you would have to return the explorer back to the stock tune.

Once you put a tune on a car the tuner is locked to that car, the only way to unlock it is to return the computer back to the factory tune. Or to pay sct to unlock it.
