Xenons & Diamonds too bright?

I was just wondering if yall think that Diamond headlights with Xenons would be too bright for other drivers. I want my lights too be bright, because I have problems seeing at night, but not too bright. Also has anyone had problems with getting pulled over for this? What about the Red 6000K xenons on ebay? It says there DOT certified, but I dont want to get pulled over if Im out with my freinds or something for like say driving with my brights on. I want the red ones especially, to match my red neons. All I see are blue & pruple ones, I want to be different. I figured it would be okay since all the foriegn cars have it, but I dunno since theyll know I installed them, not the factory.

wait colored headlights? as in the light that is projected is not white? that is illegal...and i'm one for pushing the limits with light colors but head lights need to be white...i know that

No, they have a red tint to them. Ive seen green ones too. I dont think it can be illegal, if all those foreign cars come stock with the blue/pruple ones.

i have never seen any purple lights, and the blues are usually hyper-whites that just project more blue then the normal white/ambers. but i guess if its certified...i could have sworn they had to be white if not stock...i did a bunch of research on turn signals and they have to be amber or white.

Turn signals are a different story. The only way the bulbs can be white in your turn signal is if you have an amber lense. Vise-versa for the amber bulbs, you can use those with clear/white lenses.

Anyway, I'm sure if a cop saw you going down the road he'd be suspicious. Whats the point of red headlights? To draw more attention really -- so I wouldn't be surprise to see you get pulled for them. Just keep the box in your car to show them.

The blueish lights on the foreign/high-end models are actually HIDs. Totally different from halogen bulbs. If you want to be bright as could be at night, go with HID. Best thing around

just get silverstars and put them in a diamond housing and ull be set. Throw in a aftermarket harness for the best bet

Putting a 9007 HID bulb into diamond housing will blind other drivers due to glare

not true, i have clear corners and white turn signals. it depends on ur state but in both NJ and CO it has to be white or amber.
don't mess with MPs

I had hyper white turn signals in my clear corners because they could be seen better in day and night. Night is what I cared about most. Way too many morons that can't drive around me to even take the chance of getting hit.
