XM Radio

Hey guys.. my mom got XM Radio for xmas and she was going to pay to have it put in.. my question is how hard is this with a factory radio? I wasthinking of doing this my self for her. anyone ever install this on a stock radio?

You just need to find a place to mount it, get power to it, disconnect the antenna lead to your stock radio, run that to the XM box and another pigtail from the XM box back to the stock unit, install your antenna and that's about it.

but does the install kit come with everything i need? will i need anything else? i know tools.. but wires and such?

Which kit did she get? You may just need some power and ground wire. The hardest step may be the antenna.
