Y'all think 3 lights look wierd on brush guard?

I was thinking about taking a roofrack cross bar and cutting it so I just have the parts that attach to the track.

Next, get a piece of 1.5" angle iron and attach it to the sides so that the flat parts are in front and up.

Then, drill holes in the front and attach the lights to the front of the angle iron.

Last, get a standard flat4 trailer light hook-up and have the 3female/1male end zip-tied to the tracks. That will provide a quick-disconnect for 3 sets of lights and one ground.

Anyone done anything like this? Anyone willing to try? I want to do it but use my roof rack occasionally so I don't want to destroy my rack. So, this project is on hold until I get another crossbar (anyone have one they want to sell me?).
I used my stock roof rack, and reinforced it by sandwiching it with two pieces of 3/16" flat stock (one on top of the 'wing', and one inside) [got pics around here somewhere]

I also used two trailer harnesses- 2 wires per light. Takes all of five minutes to slide on and hook up.

Once you get a pair of 200amp altenators just for the lights, I would classify your lighting as "OK".;)

You have "good" lighting when you have keep dry brush at least 20 feet away from the vehicle so it doesn't ignite.:D

Here they are!

I went against my original intentions and mounted them lower... they would've blocked my radiator pretty good if i mounted them up high.

And more ways for me to spend money... dagnabbit ;)

haha... well I ain't got the third light YET... just another fine MS Paint ghetto job :D

I think just the 4 look good. The Pro Comps are powerful enough yet weak enough to use on the road. I use my 55W Rallye's all the time. I had four lights on my bumper for awhile but it looked really tacky and didn't function well, so I took off two and sold them this past weekend. Looks good though!

yeah, for 55W those pro comps are bright as nuts! The lenses give them a great, flat beam too... i was really impressed for how cheap they are. Good quality too!
