Yet Another Premium Sound AMP Question HELP!

Hi guys, what a great forum will be seeing you all around. I know it's been asked a hundred times but there doesn't seem to be any answers. Does anyone know if you can just cut the wires to the factory premium sound amp and splice them together instead of buying a bypass? If so does anyone have any good links on a diagram or should it be pretty self expanatory, IE cut blue wires from input/output and splice together, thank you.......

For your '01, there is no bypass needed. Your amplifier is in your head unit. You just replace the HU with a normal wiring harness. The only external amp on your stereo is the subwoofer amp, which is behind the wall in the cargo area. you probably wont be able to use it after a HU swap. PM me if you have any other questions.
