Its all about how much your rear leafs bend when you put more stress on them. Some only get an 1'' , seom get 2''
 






Thanks for the quick reply... so a set of AAl's will help the shackles then?
 






you would need 4dr leafs since you have mono leafs factory. Go to a junkyard and get 4dr leafs, throw them on along with shackles and you get about 3''s of lift (in the rear)

I can't think of his name, but a guy on here uses them. It's just a diff color, IDK why most people go with the 153.

3"? That would depend on how much 'use' the 4 door leaf packs have on them. I think you're being overly optimistic. I'd expect more like 2", if that.

96Sport, if you're going to go that route, try to find the donor truck with the lowest possible mileage and ID the driver's side and passenger side leaf packs (when they're removed). Since Explorers are known for their 'driver side sag', install the driver's side leaf pack on the passenger side of your truck and vice versa. That will help to keep your truck level.
