YJ rims on my 91 EB??

I tried this a while back with some XJ wheels (same as YJ). The bolt pattern is the same. The backspacing is about 5/8" more on the Jeep wheels. This probably wouldn't be a problem unless running big tires. The main problem is with the wheel hub opening. It's smaller on the Jeep, and the Explorer hub won't fit through it. So the short answer is no.
Explorer wheels will fit on XJ's though. I've seen them; they give the Jeeps a slightly wider track with a more aggressive looking stance.
