I recently got a set of japanese Grandtrek AT 3 Dunlops here in Argentina. They do Ok on road, specially on wet conditions and they don't make road noise at all. I don't go off road often and never took them so I can't tell, but I heard they do ok too. Don't know if this tyre is available up there in the States but I did some research before buying and Dunlops were well recommended and at least here price is lower than Geolanders.
