I brought my Ex (that is only a little over a month old) to the dealership today to address some of the problems that I am experiencing that so many of you are experiencing too. The things I wanted them to look into are:

-A/C seats not cooling in seat backs, only on bottom
-A/C doesn't seems to always blow cool. Sometimes it does and other times it seems somewhat warm
-electric windows stutter when lowered (as I posted earlier in another video)

So out of the three things that I wanted them to look into, they found that all 3 things are broken!
-A/C seats have been found to not be operating correctly and I have been advised they need to be completely disassembled and need new parts
-A/C cooling fan is broken and needs to be replaced
-All Electric window motors are broken and need replacing

I am so upset that a new car comes off the line from the factory broken. How does this happen? Are there no QC checks? I was also advised by my service advisor that there probably should have been better QC checks at the dealership level as well. This is extremely disappointing. I absolutely am in love with so much about this vehicle but this is really disheartening. This is my first go-round with owning a Ford and I must say, if I knew this was going to happen out of the gate, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I do understand that things happen and I am a realist and understand that machines and technology break but really? This soon? Is this what I am in for?

My dealership is completely taking care of this and I will not be on the hook for anything but I am now out my vehicle and am just upset that at this early stage, there are so many things wrong. I really hope this isn't foreshadowing what is to come.

Tell'em you'll take that new one over there, and they can fix their broken one.

I think anything ac related in our sport does not function correctly. I have yet taken it in though, I'm not a fan of my dealer.

Ok, so now I have been told that in addition to the window motors needing to be replaced, I also need new regulators for the windows; the motors was not enough and they were still making noise. Seriously? I am beyond frustrated. This is now day 3 of my vehicle being in the shop with no end in sight.

Yeah... I have to say... After buying 2 new Fords these past 2 years. I wanted to give Ford a last try with our recently purchased Fusion. However, it already had a dealership visit for the TPMS being broken. Now I have to take it in for repairs on the fuel tank not filling up to 16 gallons as advertised and a passenger door lock light falling into the door.

Not to mention, my Ford Explorer has had over 10 warranty repairs. I love Ford in the way they put in cool options and the styling. However, you can slap on something that looks good, but if it doesn't function like it's supposed to. Then you just don't have happy customers.

It's like judging a book by its cover, you have a nicer cover, but the story is just not that good.

Hi everyone!

I'm always happy to look into individual cases and see how I can help. Before I can get started, I'll need a PM from you with your information. Include your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name; I'll handle the rest. :)

My windows had the chatter.. they gave it back to me after replacing the motors and I mentioned to them during my next visit that the chatter didn't fix it. 2nd diagnosis was like yours, needs new window regulator.

After that, the problem was solved and has stayed solved for over a year. I was told the regulator was worn out..

It seems crazy to me that so many are having this problem but there is no recall on it. The thing is, in my case, they couldn't have been worn out as the car is only a month old!

X2. 3,000 miles and have had it "fixed" three times. I think anything to do with the door is junk though. They are bulky and awkward. They have no hinge feel, the windows makes a weird noise when going up and down like rubbing on the felt or whatever it is. Just isn't a high quality door for sure. And the back doors feel hallow.
