I don't like the positioning of the V8 emblem, it's too close to the center and looks off center and unnatural. It would look better in a different spot. What's between the "V8" and the "Explorer". Is that a dealer sticker? The V8 is too large also, it would look better near the front wheels like on the Limited. That's my opinion...or if it is a dealer sticker, get rid of it, and move the "V8" closer the the "Explorer"
That looks cool, I like the Ford V6 and V8. I have an 2004 Eddie Bauer with the V8 on the back. It looks like the V8 they used back about 1932; with the 8 inside the V. You can also get the V6 from the side of the 2001-02 Escape. It is a 6 inside the V. Looks really cool.
jimabena74,

everyone..i took those "v6" emblem's off..going to have some custome made in gold
"What's between the "V8" and the "Explorer". Is that a dealer sticker?"..no that's the XLT emblem
"it would look better near the front wheels like on the Limited. That's my opinion"
the truck is a v8 so it allredy has v8 emblem's on the fender's...no need for 2 v8 emblem's within 2" of eachother
Before you waste your money on Gold, go looking around at other cars with the gold. It does not last as long as the silver. I even had a guy that does the gold plating for cars tell me that. This is just my opinion. I have seen a lot of Gold Wingers but a lot of gold on their bikes, rather than the silver. It just does not last. But too each their own.
