Zapped power and some clicking!

I was out driving today and noticed that when I put my foot in it she really was bogging down. So I started testing it and it seemed like there was now power and at one point it sounded as if it were clicking or sparking ( hard to describe).

Anyway, I checked the tranny fluid an it was all good. The truck has near 100k on it so maybe it's the plugs and wires? I just hope to Agadala that it's not the tranny.

Any help w/ diagnostic would help.

wait till it's dark outside, start your X, open the hood, if it's plug wires you should be able to see them arc ing in the dark..........easiest way to "see" if it's spark plug wires....

Changed the plugs and wireset, no dice.

I am starting to suspect the fuel filter as it has never been changed.

Just got her back form the shop.
Turns out it was a catilitic converter.
Runs great now.
