This Is What Happens When I Get Bored

I was bored tonight, so since the site now has 40,044 members, I wondered, "How many registered members are from New England?" I started this at about 9:30 PM and finished at about 1:15 AM


So using the search and using full names and abbreviations for each state this is what I came up with......you will be quite surprised, especially when I break the totals down. Now this doesn't take into consideration new members whose post totals are low, but it is interesting to see how it breaks down.

Ike, had I grouped you with the Mass contingent, I'm afraid of what you would have done to me *cringes*

But seriously, you've always said you were proud to be a Vermonter, so it was only fitting I put you there......even though you happen to be living in Mass for now.

I like when someone is proud of where they are from. Me, I'm the only one of my siblings who wasn't New England born. My parents moved to Long Beach, California after they got married in September of 1956 and I was born there in March of 1957. But my dad lost his job when I was 8 months old and returned to his job here in Connecticut. Even though I wasn't born in New England, I grew up here and would never live anywhere else.

I could too.....if I really had to....I just hope I never have to. All of my family lives in New England except my brother Bob......he lives in Florida and loves the weather there.......seems I'm the only one of my brothers and sisters that loves snow and cold weather. I can't tolerate hot or humid weather

I know, it's is sweet, unfortunately my Photoshop skills are middling at best. My daughter Jessica is getting really good with it......she'd better considering her major is Graphic Design.......I asked her to keep her course book so I can learn a little from it
