Ok so I threw my new head unit into the ex and naturally this made my rear radio controls stop working. However what I was wondering is if anyone has replaced this with something else...

I was thinking about putting a small screen in place of it... Has this been done before?

I was thinking something along the lines of that as well. It would be quite something to do that. I personally think it might be too low to put a screen there though.

perhaps angle it up a bit?

I just dont like having something non functional on my truck :p

well power invertor or cb radio might fit.....switchpanel maybe?

What kind of switches would a passenger in the back need? ;)

power inverter...lol....heated seats...vibrating seat thing lol

power inverter maybe... [usb 120 and cig lighter port]

but I am looking into a screen then putting that stuff down lower on the side of the console ;)

I thought about putting an inverter there, but I wasn't able to find one I liked that would fit. Keep in mind that the A/C controls will still work if you replace the radio, so you don't really want to mess with them.
