Rear radio controls , 98 XLT

I have a 12 year old son that won't stop messing with my radio from the back seat. He is driving me nuts. How do I turn off the rear controls ????

You could get an aftermarket head unit--

I think there is a harness going to the console from head unit--can it be disconnected?

I am also seeing a picture of a kid strapped to the luggage rack---

Press 3 & 5 at the same time on the radio presets. The little headphone icon will go away.

What section said sounds right... That should disable all rear controls...

just tie him up and throw him in the back under the load cover.. or leave him at home... or feed him to the dog... or break his fingers.. or you could just turn the controls off.. personally I'd go for turning the controls off as the last resort...

I hear ya ! Sometime I want to do stuff like that but I've heard it's against the law. Tried the 3-5 trick. It does work ! thanks alot guys
