trail master 4" lift for 98 ranger

imma bout to buy a 98 ford explorer and its gonna need a lift...i was wondering if the trail master 4" lift for a 98 ranger will fit a 98 explorer? a little mod or 2 will be ok it just needs a 4 inch lift to please me.

yes, but trail disaster is/was the least-favorable lift, due to balljoint spacers and terrible steering extension pieces provided.
there's a post around here where somebody broke the steering extension piece that mounts to the rack and pinion.
 






You are better off with a torsion twist and 2" body lift.
 












if you can find it, the Superlift was better than the Trail Disaster, since it included new knuckles/spindles.
But a 3" body lift and slight torsion twist will still be much cheaper
 






where is the best place to buy the 3 in body lift?

go to Summit racing, buy their brand body lift, it's the same stuff but at a different price,, cheaper,,

no, that's an unsafe redneck lift done by somebody with a death wish.
