rough idle after k&n cai install

installed cai and after doing so i get a rough idle in all gears. Ex runs fine but stalls at idle. Almost sounds like the cai is gulping air. took out and reinstalled several times with the same result. put factory air cleaner back in and runs just fine. any help would be appreiciated.

One time I was working on my engine and had to take my intake off. When I put it back on I didn't plug the maf in all the way and when I started it up it did the same thing. Just a thought, always look for the little simple things first.

Unplug your battery and leave it unplugged for a while (10 mins?) than turn your engine on and let it run for about 5 minutes so it can re-learn the idle.
