Hi Guys I have a 1996/97 explorer 4.0L SOHC and was just wondering what part numbers I would need to get the correct PCM for my vehicle. Thanks

Junkyard same model ?

Obtain numbers/info from current PCM and do a search on Ebay Motors.

I have 2 V-6 4.0 SOHC '97s and both PCMs have the same part number. They looked so much the same I almost got them mixed up. Have a Sharpie handy when you remove yours and removing a JY one and immediately mark it so you know which is which. Write the truck color or the last 4 digits or complete VIN so you know which is which.

You go by the 4 diget catch code on top of the PCM or on the sticker next to the PCM.
