Need some help please

2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac --
I bought my daughter a new stereo for Christmas, I started to install it yesterday and I cannot figure out which wire is the power wire. The wiring diagrams I found online say it's light green but that color isn't an option. Thanks in advance for any help you guys could provide.

I think red is ignition and yellow is battery. Probe the radio harness with one of these is your best bet.

For future reference it’s much easier to just use a wire harness adapter.

Dead Link Removed has a lot of schematic diagrams with color coded wiring.
