Cruise control light not working

Hi guys, I have explorer XLT 2010, and I have an issue that my truck's cruise control is working perfectly fine but when I put the truck in cruise, the indicator light for cruise control won't show up on dash board. Need your opinion. Thanks

is this something that was working then stopped suddenly, or was it like that when you bought it?

Yes it was working perfectly fine. But when I put the truck on cruise, the cruise was working fine but the indicator green light was not there on the dashboard.
