3.73:1 LS. Wish it was the 4.10s, though. Was told it had the 4.10s when I bought it, but looked at the numbers later and saw it just has the 3.73s.

My mounty 3.73 LS 2wd 5.0

i got a 3.08 open, im 2wd. the 3.08 sux @ss but i can drive 90 at 2000rpm, 55 is at about 1300rpm

My 91 has the 3:55 gears, that is what Ford installed with my 5 speed. There were no gear options available when I ordered it. (unless you ordered the LSD.) Most of the 91's with automatic seemed to come with the 3:27 gears.

My 2000 with 16" tires has 4:10 gears. The 91 engine will rev at 2000 RPM at 100 KPH (62 MPH) My 2000 revs about 250 RMP higher at the same speed.

I cgot the short end of the shaft with the 3.27, but I just ordered 4.10's from taxxman2k Thanks Dave :D

Mine came with 3.27.

Ran 36s with those for a year.

See as how mine is just a lowly 92 2-door sport, it has the 3.27 "dog" rear end. One of my new year resolutions was to have 3.73 LS front and rear by the end of this summer. I'm planning on getting a whole rear axle from a 98 or better 3.73 LS (disc brakes) junkyard explorer, and a whole different 3.73 LS front pumpkin from a junkyard. I think I can get both for about 400-500 bucks.

4.10s in my 98 sport sohc, great for acceleration, but mileage is terrible, usually around 14-16 mpg, yeah well

3.55 open here. although I can't say I'm proud of it.

I thought i replied to this thread before but
guess not

I got 4:10s open and get about 14 just about everywhere even in 4wd driving back from school. like 3hours in snow.
mileage didn't drop after i got my tires eigther.
and since my speedos off, so is my odometer so i'm getting better mileage I think

open diffs are gonna be taken care of with lock rites looks like come spring. and after the snows gone.
or maybe a detroit in the back

and i don't think i've ever felt the power.
I think a 460ci in this piece would move it alright but not great. I think that would do the job. and maybe a blower on it too. I wanna be able to to stop the gas on dry pavement while locked up and rip the tires. poor dana 35 it's would blow up. I need a dana 60 and 9inch then itll be solid

4.10 LS, 99 4-Door SOHC, Eddie Bauer. I get between 18-22 on average.

4.10 / SOHC ('98 Sport)

Checked the axle code and I have 3.88 open.

he probably meant to type 3.55

Sorry, I read the axle wrong. I have a 3.73 LS. I saw 8.8 after the code & thought that was the gear number.
