    My dealer told me that place is for placing the fob into if the fob battery goes dead. When the fob is in that spot the car will still turn on.

    I thought the roof rails were solid for Explorers with sun roofs. My 2017 Sport has sun roofs (front and back) and has solid rails.

    I just found out my Explorer GPS only can store 50 favorite destinations. Yikes. Outside sales - I have many more than that. I guess it is back to the Garmin.
